EDUCATION & CONTINUING EDUCATION
Dr. Carreras attended the University of San Diego in California for his undergraduate studies where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry. He then attended the University of Michigan where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Carreras decided to further his education by completing a year-long General Practice Residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, IL. Through this program, Dr. Carreras gained experience in many different areas of dentistry, treated patients with complex medical issues in a hospital setting, and cared for patients with physical and intellectual disabilities.
Dr. Carreras takes pride in the relationships that he establishes with his patients. He seeks to provide them with the highest quality of care while helping them meet their individual goals. Above all, he strives to provide patients with a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

IN THE COMMUNITY
Dr. Carreras has volunteered his skills through a number of outreach events such as Give Kids a Smile and other various health fairs. Dr. Carreras also has the ability to speak Spanish to provide resources and assist others in their education as needed.
OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE
Dr. Carreras is originally from Cold Spring, a small town in Central Minnesota. In his free time, Dr. Carreras enjoys spending time with family and friends. He is an avid Minnesota sports fan and strong supporter of the Michigan Wolverines. Dr. Carreras loves to travel as he enjoys exploring new places and learning about different cultures. Recently, Dr. Carreras has taken an interest in coffee and enjoys trying beans from around the world.
