EDUCATION & CONTINUING EDUCATION

Dr. Lovell pursued his undergraduate studies at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, graduating at the top of his class as summa cum laude. Dr. Lovell received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree with cum laude distinction from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine.

He was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honor society that recognizes students of the highest scholarship and character. Dr. Lovell has been recognized for excellence and creativity in restorative dentistry as well as his work in aesthetic dentistry by the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry.

Dr. Lovell takes pride in providing a positive experience for his patients by understanding their individual circumstances and catering to their needs with gentle care. He attends courses at highly respected universities to learn the best techniques in how to provide the best and most up-to-date care for his patients. Technology has changed dentistry at a rapid pace, and through continuing education, Dr. Lovell absorbs the most recent research to provide the best patient care with pain-free treatment.

IN THE COMMUNITY

Dr. Lovell attends church at Summit Point in East Peoria, IL.  He has been on various dental mission trips to provide much-needed dental care to remote parts of the world. He volunteers his time and expertise to local high school sports teams, including IHSA State Tournaments, and has coached high school boys soccer and club soccer at various levels.  Dr. Lovell has served on the Executive Board of the Peoria District Dental Society and most recently as President serving six Central Illinois counties.

OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE

Originally from Tremont, IL, Dr. Lovell and his wife, Kortnie, are excited to call Central IL home. They have been blessed with three wonderful girls:  Adalynn, Paisley, and Magnolia.  Spending time with his family is of great importance.  He can usually be found on the sideline or in the bleachers supporting his girls in various sporting activities.  A man of many hobbies, Dr. Lovell enjoys being out in nature, staying active and playing just about any sport.
